My article in COOK Magazine

I love donation cans. It makes it more convenient to give, and at the same time I feel less stressful than having to automatically deduct from every paycheck. But one of the best things I learned from doing this interview was that every can should be checked for a serial no. to make sure it's genuine. Anyway, thankfully, my article was featured in COOK Magazine last month.

Article on Enrich Magazine last September

I wrote an article about the Philippines' Bible Museum. I was surprised at the wealth of information one could get from this place.

My article in Enrich Magazine about a woman and her cat

I wrote this article about Direk Sockie Fernandez. Her movie "Liyab" made it to the Cannes Film Festival, while her other movie, "Gulong" was a nominee at an Australian film festival. This story is about Sockie and her cat.

My article in Enrich Magazine

In June this year I got to attend a forum by four self made women billionaires from the US, and was able to interview them afterwards. Here's the article:

My name is listed among the contributors.

Kat's photo as a child model in Good Housekeeping

I wish I saved my old articles in Good Housekeeping. Who would have known that someday we would have computers and blogs where we could post all of them? But I did save this issue, because my daughter modeled for the article. She must have been seven years old at the time. She is now 20.

That is Kat on P. 81, sitting on the floor with the boy who modeled with her.

Kat is behind the mask.

Below, you can see my lovely daughter's laughing face:)

Sept. 2002 issue of magazine where I was Executive Editor

Here is a copy of the Sept. 2002 issue of Cook Magazine where I was Executive Editor. All along, some of my old issues were kept in the guest bathroom, and it occurred to me to look at the stack of magazines yesterday, and I discovered them. So I am putting them up here now. I only found five issues of Cook when I worked there, but I guess that will do:)

This is the Sept. 2002 cover of Cook Magazine.

You can see my byline on the staff box as Executive Editor. That is also my daughter's baby photo on the right.

My article is on P. 24.

My column, Recipe For Life. My article below.

My daughter is now 20 years old, but this is her baby photo that we used for the layout.

In this page, we used a photo of her when she was two years old. This was taken when the family took a trip to Taiwan. It was useful for the layout, anyway.
